Bet Large and Win Little in Craps
If you decide to use this approach you need to have a sizable amount of money and awesome discipline to walk away when you acquire a small success. For the benefit of this story, a sample buy in of $2,000 is used.
The Horn Bet numbers are not always considered the "successful way to play" and the horn bet itself has a house advantage of over twelve percent.
All you are gambling is 5 dollars on the pass line and ONE number from the horn. It does not matter if it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you bet it routinely. The Yo is more dominant with gamblers using this approach for apparent reasons.
Buy in for $2,000 when you approach the table but put only five dollars on the passline and one dollar on either the 2, 3, 11, or twelve. If it wins, great, if it does not win press to two dollars. If it loses again, press to four dollars and continue on to eight dollars, then to sixteen dollars and after that add a $1.00 every subsequent wager. Every time you don’t win, bet the last value plus a further dollar.
Employing this approach, if for instance after 15 rolls, the number you chose (11) has not been thrown, you surely should go away. However, this is what possibly could happen.
On the tenth toss, you have a sum total of $126 in the game and the YO finally hits, you win $315 with a gain of $189. Now is a good time to walk away as it’s higher than what you entered the game with.
If the YO does not hit until the twentieth roll, you will have a total investment of $391 and seeing as current bet is at $31, you win $465 with your take of $74.
As you can see, adopting this system with only a one dollar "press," your profit margin becomes tinier the more you gamble on without succeeding. That is why you should march away once you have won or you should bet a "full press" again and then carry on with the $1.00 mark up with each hand.
Crunch the data at home before you attempt this so you are very familiar at when this system becomes a losing adventure instead of a winning one.
