Wager A Lot and Win Small in Craps
If you choose to use this scheme you must have a very big amount of money and amazing discipline to leave when you generate a tiny win. For the benefit of this material, an example buy in of two thousand dollars is used.
The Horn Bet numbers are certainly not looked at as the "winning way to play" and the horn bet itself carries a house edge well over twelve percent.
All you are gambling is five dollars on the pass line and ONE number from the horn. It does not matter if it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you bet it always. The Yo is more common with people using this approach for obvious reasons.
Buy in for two thousand dollars when you sit down at the table however only put $5.00 on the passline and $1 on one of the two, 3, eleven, or twelve. If it wins, excellent, if it loses press to two dollars. If it does not win again, press to $4 and continue on to $8, then to $16 and after that add a one dollar every subsequent bet. Every time you don’t win, bet the previous wager plus an additional dollar.
Using this scheme, if for example after 15 rolls, the number you selected (11) hasn’t been thrown, you without doubt should walk away. However, this is what could happen.
On the tenth toss, you have a sum total of $126 on the table and the YO at long last hits, you amass three hundred and fifteen dollars with a profit of $189. Now is an excellent time to walk away as it is higher than what you joined the game with.
If the YO doesn’t hit until the 20th roll, you will have a complete bet of $391 and because your current action is at $31, you earn $465 with your profit of $74.
As you can see, using this scheme with just a one dollar "press," your profit margin becomes smaller the longer you bet on without attaining a win. That is why you have to walk away once you have won or you have to wager a "full press" again and then advance on with the $1.00 increase with each roll.
Crunch the data at home before you attempt this so you are very adept at when this scheme becomes a non-winning affair instead of a winning one.
